A/Prof Anthony Boxshall

Associate Professor Anthony Boxshall is a marine ecologist by trade who has worked in Australia and the USA across Government, academia and industry. He is the Founder and Principal of Science into Action Pty Ltd, a science impact company, turning great science into greater actions in areas including environment, climate adaptation, conservation, pollution, agriculture and sustainability. He was a Board Director of Parks Victoria for 4.5 years until February 2025 and was the inaugural Chair of the Victorian Marine & Coastal Council. A former National President of the Australian Marine Sciences Association, and head of the Science part of EPA Victoria, he has worked at UC Santa Cruz USA, Deakin University, and has been on several innovation Boards.

He is a co-founder of Authentic Co-design, solving complex challenges with broad stakeholder groups. He is a current Melbourne Enterprise Fellow in the School of Biosciences at the University of Melbourne.
